LandlordLedger ("we", "us", or "our") operates the LandlordLedger web application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our service.
We collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, and financial data you enter into the application (property information, transaction records, and related accounting data).
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, process transactions, and communicate with you about your account.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted database provider. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We use Google OAuth and email/password authentication provided by Supabase Auth. We do not store your Google password.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.
LandlordLedger lets you scan receipts, invoices, and bank statements using your phone camera or by uploading image and PDF files. Uploaded images and PDFs are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI service so it can extract transaction details (merchant, date, amount, item description). Our prompt explicitly instructs the AI to extract only financial data — customer names, shipping/billing addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, credit card numbers, order numbers, and tracking numbers are never extracted or stored. Only the resulting transaction data is saved to your account. We do not retain the original image after extraction. Anthropic does not retain the image beyond the request needed to process it.
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your login session. You can instruct your browser to refuse cookies, but this may prevent you from using some features.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
